Venture capital terms in Turkish

There are many resources on the web for information about venture capital fund structures, investment processes, financing terms, and startup performance metrics. However, most of these resources are in English.

Bora Yilmaz of Revo Capital recently shared a series of blog posts which provide the same information in Turkish. You can read the full series here.

I believe that this is a very important resource for Turkish entrepreneurs navigating their first outside funding round. Knowing the structures and constraints of the entity you’re dealing with, and understanding the most common information they’ll be asking for and why they want to know that information, will make for a much more productive fundraising discussion. You can always ask for this information during the course of the discussion, but coming in prepared will make for a more fluid process that’s more likely to produce a positive outcome.

Thanks to Bora for preparing this important resource.
